MS MS 201 T C-M CHAINSAW
STIHL MS 201 T C-M TREE CHAINSAW
Want a chainsaw that's easy to handle yet still packs a punch? The STIHL MS 201 T C-M Chainsaw is what you've been looking for. This chainsaw is optimized for use in trees due to its high power-to-weight ratio.
The MS 201 T C-clever M's engine management system, STIHL M-TronicTM, compensates for variables like fuel quality and altitude to keep the engine running smoothly and efficiently no matter the conditions. Operator fatigue, comfort, and balance are all improved by the MS 201 T C-top M's handle design and streamlined starting process.
This lightweight chainsaw, at only 8.16 pounds, is perfect for arborists and other specialists who work with trees. A 3/8" OILOMATIC® chain and a 14-inch guide bar will give you clean cuts every time.
The STIHL MS 201 T C-M is the best option for any professional arborist. This chainsaw is a must-have for any tool shed because of its consistent performance, low fuel consumption, and perfect equilibrium.
STIHL 2-MIX ENGINE
This product features M-Tronic™ (M) - a new generation of Intelligent Engine Management that eliminates the low and high speed carburetor adjustment screws, compensates for dirty air filter and changes in elevation and fuel quality for optimum engine power at all times.
DECOMPRESSION VALVE
Easy starting includes the decompression valve. Pressing the valve before starting reduces compression pressure and starter rope effort. The semi-automatic decompression valve opens manually but closes automatically.
STIHL ELASTOSTART
When starting an internal combustion engine, the stresses are jerky because of the compression pressure. In the ElastoStart special starter grip, the damping element alternately absorbs and releases force based on how the grip is compressed. This makes for a smooth and even start.
CONTROLLED-DELIVERY OIL PUMP
Different bar lengths, wood types and sawing techniques require different amounts of oil. The controlled-delivery oil pump allows the user to select just the right amount of oil for the job at hand.
SIDE-MOUNTED CHAIN TENSIONING
Side-mounted chain tensioning makes it easy to tension the chain safely.
CONTROLLED COMPENSATOR
This controller in the carburettor prevents the fuel-air mixture getting richer as the air filter becomes clogged. The correct quantity of fuel is delivered to the carburettor depending on the quantity of air passing through the air filter. This keeps the fuel/air ratio in the combustion mixture constant and hence also the engine power. The filter doesn't need to be cleaned until an appreciable drop in power occurs
TOOL FREE FUEL CAP
Special caps to open and close the tank cap quickly, easily and without tools. Located on both Gas & Bar Oil tanks for easy and quick access.
STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM
Precisely calculated buffer zones minimise the transfer of engine and saw chain vibrations to the front and rear handles. The chainsaw therefore runs noticeably smoother. This allows the user to save their strength and work longer.
ADVANCED COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGY
Four overflow channels swirl the fuel-air mix before ignition, allowing for optimum combustion and highly efficient performance. The result is lower fuel consumption and high torque across a broad rpm range.
STIHL EMATIC SYSTEM
The STIHL Ematic technology decreases chain lubrication use by up to 50% compared to conventional bars, depending on wood type and cutting attachment. STIHL Ematic or Ematic S guide bars, Oilomatic saw chains, and variable-flow or reduced-flow oil pumps make up this system. Hence, nearly every chain lubricant drop goes where it should.
SINGLE-LEVER MASTER CONTROL
All important functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are operated via a single lever. An easy to use switch and throttle make it simple and easy to start and stop the MS 271 Farmboss effortlessly
SCABBARD & FOLD OUT HOOK
Scabbard
The scabbard snaps directly onto the sprocket so it's firmly attached and safely fixed onto the chainsaw. It also has two suspension eyelets that allow the arborist to secure the scabbard to his harness with a rope. The special scabbard covers the clamp end stop. This is to prevent injury and material damage
Fold-out hook
The fold-out hook serves as a carrying rope attachment for lowering the arborist saw and for security. When it is pushed in, the hook doesn't get in the way of your work or when it's in storage.
